Jetzt geht es also zum letzten Mal los zu einem Projekt...die letzten sieben Mal „in einem Zelt aufwachen“....das letzte Mal im freien Arbeiten....
Irgendwie ist das Gefühl seltsam, dass das mein letztes Projekt sein soll...

Ich wollte nach Zion gehen...aber meine Bemühungen scheiterten....trotz der Hilfe von Supervisorn....was mir im Nachhinein von Matt Roberts erklärt wurde....seine Email machte mich um ehrlich zu sein, recht stolz!

Ansonsten waren die Tage recht ereignislos....ich habe ein wenig gedichtet und mich erholt von dem wirklich harten letzten Projekt... außerdem war ich von Mat Bruffell und Ioana zum Curry eingeladen worden...das war fantastisch...

Außerdem habe ich die Bilder endlich hoch geladen....einige Briefe geschrieben und mich von Tom (Wyoming) verabschiedet...wobei ich „heute“ morgen...also in 2 Stunden...zum Bahnhof laufen werde um ihm richtig Tschüss zu sagen....

Generell war die wieder ein Wochenende voller Verabschiedungen lauter netter Leute.... aber mittlerweile habe ich mich daran gewöhnt....

Achja...weil es kein passendes Projekt für mich gibt werde ich die letzten paar Tage, um mich nicht zu langweilen, mit Dan arbeiten...so kann ich neue Sachen lernen...zum Beispiel wie man Werkzeuge schleift etc....

Hi Joschka,

thanks for your email and sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you but its been pretty busy these last fwe days.

I understand you wanting to go back to Zion with Mat and the crew but I really need your fencing experience out at Grand Canyon Parashant NM on Matt Crowleys project. You are by far our most experienced fencers and I need you to help Matt with teaching the other volunteers how to get the fence repaired.

The project is out at Waring Ranch, deep in to the monument about 80 miles on dirt roads. The ranch is a national heritage site and need protecting from possible fire risk and risk of cows getting into the site as well. The work involves fixing up the fence, putting in new juniper fence posts and then cleaning all the brush and trees around the fence line.

I hope my explaination helps you understand why I need you to go to Parashant rather than Zion. I hope you have a good time and the others volunteers manage to learn lots from you.

Thank you for all of your hard work over the months while you have been here, you have done a great job and all of the supervisors enjoy having you on their crews.
